Profile: Tim Moore (left) Updated August 2026

Sadly, Tim passed away in August 2026, but as a long time colleague and friend of Jes, Tim was in at the beginning of DMC World Representatives in 2013.  In his younger days, Tim was an accomplished racing driver who competed against many of the top drivers in the 1960s and 70s. Later and immediately prior to linking up with Jes, he was the Tours Manager for an international cruise company for many years. This meant that not only was he travelling the world, meeting DMCs and negotiating contracts, he was also responsible for ensuring quality control. When he wasn't travelling, Tim enjoyed relaxing with a good book, good food and fine wine and the company of the many friends he had made around the world.  RIP Tim.

Jes has spent his career in retail and corporate travel, tour operating, hospitality and it has also included a spell as a hotel assessor at some of the finest hotels in the world. As the director and general manager at a leading independent UK travel business, Jes was responsible for establishing new brands and driving the company through its most profitable and successful period, winning national business and consumer awards along the way. Jes knows the value of establishing good long term relationships but also the importance of ensuring that the products and services are second to none. 

Jes has unbounded optimism and great enthusiasm for everything he does. This is also evident from some of his leisure interests, where he has represented England at pétanque and won two different quiz shows on national television.
